WHY IS IT DAT ANYTHING GODDLY IS BORING AND ANYTHING UNGODDLY EXICITNG. MOST TIMES I HAVE BEEN IN A CHURCH FOR NIGHT-VIGIL, I FEEL SLEEPY BUT WHENEVER I GO FOR A NIGHT OUT WITH MY FRIENDS AM WAKE STILL I GET HOME AND SLEEP! ISN'T IT TIME FOR CHURCHES TO START MAKING PRAISE TIME LONGER, THAN DAT BORING PREACHING DAT THEY ALWAYS REPEAT THEIR SENTENCES OR THEY OFFERING ONE GIVES DAT NEVER ENDS EITHER ITS FOR THE CHURCH OR FOR THE PASTOR'S HOUSE OR SOMETHING SOMEWHERE HAPPENED AND NOW THE CHURCH HAVE TO DONATE!

well, i agree with what you say. many times i go for night vigil and fall asleep. but when i make out with my friends i hardly do that. now if the church stops preaching, then what did we go to church for? anybody can praise God. even a mad man praises God. but the way you handle worldly things will depend on how much word you know. if you don't have the word then you have NOTHING. and if the preachers dont preach it in church, then everybody can go home and praise the lord. the word is very important. an about the offering, thats the one of the windows you use to "get more oney for yourself". its not just enuff to pay tithe. infact, it is better to give than to pay tithe. if anyone disagrees with this lemme know. i'll support my statement.
people who fear God pay tithe, but people who love God give offering. besides i myself have experienced it. if anyone wants to hear my story then let me know. i'll tell it to you.

am not saying the pastor shouldn't preach, all am saying is at least they should reduce it. why repeating one word for a long time cos u're preaching! u could preach, say de message but not repeating de same word! yeah a mad man can praise the lord but dont forget its in his own way. if i am to go to 2 churchies, one preaches for 1 hour and the praise section is for 30mint while the other church does the opposite believe me I will go to the one that does the opposite GILE.

Esther the answer to your question is simple. Jesus said, "You cannot give that which belongs to the children unto the dogs", again it is said " that word is wisdom to the selected and foolishness to fools". What am saying is, people sleep in churches and dont in worldly things because the flesh which we occupy is more prone to evil than to good. Therefore anything that isnt about light is more interesting than that which portrays light. Why is it easier for people to do evil than good? The truth is the word of God is preached so we will find a way back to God, meaning we have strayed from God. We are used to indiciplined life and we hate to be disciplined therefore the word spoken in the church is boring to us. We need things to be done in ways that are convenient for us but remember that there is a way to God. We have to follow the formula of God to get to him and not ours. You have to inconvenience yourself inorder to convenience God thereby conviniencing yourself more wholly. Those who are not willing to be disciplined find reasons to stay way from church. That is why many people refuse the existence of God (not you). It is not because they dont have a fear in them that tells them God is real but because they hate the fact that acknowledging and following God means they will abandon certain life styles. They will have to have their heads disciplined and things they are used to, they will have to aboandon for a more perfect easy way of life. Now, they dont know that life with GOD is also easy. They believe it is hard which is a lie the Devil through the weakness of their flesh tells them.The same applies to our uneasyness in the church as opposed to our comfort in clubs and in all worldly activities.

Are there not seven days in the week and 30 to 31 days in a month safe february? Some of us only have to dedicate 2 hours out of 168 hours of seven days of the week yet we find it boring. Two ours for our Maker, the one we will stand before when we drop this flesh and one hundred and sixty-six hours of the week for ourselfs yet we find it tideous to do. Does that tell you something is wrong?

Finally, find a good bible believing Church that speaks the TRUTH as is and humble yourself to learn and you will see that there is great beauty and comfort coupled with peace of mind to both listen and apply the word.

Well, Esther if you are an unbeliever then what you just wrote would apply but i assumed you believed in something hence the "long" response. Perhaps i was wrong going by you mentioning "U XTAINS".

Most of the writings i did above contained the word "We" telling you all of us are concerned and in one instance i specifically bracketed "not you", again assuming you were a Christian. I apologise if you're not and what i wrote, i wrote not for an unbeliever but for a believer - You.

How about Christians just change their approach. The boring preacher on tirade at the pulpit IS BORING. Find one thats not. If you're at that club and a boring guy comes up to you with some lame line what do you do? Leave! The same applies to the church. Christians seem to think that they are tied down to one building and one type of music and one type of sermon and one type of boring lifestyle. Thats BS (brown sugar) sweet to say but no substance. Change your pastor, change type of gospel music, change your christian friends to different ones, simply change what you dont like including yourself. If you think the sermon is boring, it might be the pastor it might be you, get it?

the only time one has a problem with giving is wen they have 2 much nd mayb one is in the wrong church.
if u give nd the pastor nd minsters shar it among themselves at least u know deep within u've given its them that Gods gonna punish
